The research in the bionanotechnology laboratory, directed by Kyohei Terao, focuses on bio-applications of micro/nano scale fabrication and manipulation techniques. These allow the handling of individual biological objects such as single cells and biomolecules. Using these techniques, we are investigating interdisciplinary researches on single cell analysis and single DNA molecule analysis.
